Equipment and add-ons Chinook installs
Chinook installs American Standard heating and cooling equipment and a short list of add-ons for air quality, humidity, laundry and temperature control. The crew services and repairs all brands.
Featured equipment
American Standard, from a Customer Care Dealer.
Chinook is an American Standard Customer Care Dealer. Its Comfort Consultants help you decide which equipment and upgrades fit your home, and the technicians install it. American Standard’s range covers air conditioners, heat pumps, furnaces, coils, air handlers, ductless systems and air quality add-ons.
Buying American Standard is not a condition of calling Chinook. The crew services and repairs all brands, so a system you already own is still a job for the same technicians. For the installation side, see AC installation and heat pump service.

Add-on products
Four add-ons for the air, the humidity, the laundry and the thermostat.
Each has its own page with the detail from Chinook. If you are not sure whether one suits your home, ask during a tune-up visit or call the office.
Air Scrubber Plus
A whole house purifier that works through your heating and air conditioning unit to reduce dust, pet dander, allergens and odors such as cigarette smoke, paint fumes and strong cooking smells.
It can only be bought from a certified dealer, and Chinook contractors are licensed to install and maintain it.
About Air Scrubber PlusAprilaire 800 Steam Humidifier
It boils tap water between two electrodes and injects the steam into the ductwork of a forced air system, which matters in the heating season because dry air pulls moisture out of wood, plaster and furniture joints.
After 168 hours of running it drains its canister on its own, and the canister is the only routine replacement.
About the Aprilaire 800Laundry Scrubber
A cold-water laundry system that uses activated oxygen to lift dirt from fabric, so no detergent is needed.
Tough stains can still need pre-treating, and results are better the cleaner the incoming water is.
About Laundry ScrubberNest Learning Thermostat
Use it for a week and it programs itself, learning the temperatures you like and building a schedule around your days.
Once it is on Wi-Fi you can adjust it from the Nest app, and Chinook can install and program it for you.

Goodman, Coleman, American Standard and Amana.
Those are the four names Chinook shows on its home page. It is true of all of them, and of every other make, that the crew services and repairs all brands. For a repair on equipment you already have, see every Chinook service.
