Comfort365 maintenance plans and the 90 Minute Tune-Up
Two full tune-ups a year, 15% off repairs, priority scheduling and no overtime charges, from the Kennewick crew whose vans carry the line.
Chapter 01
Two ninety minute visits a year, and no sales call at the end
Comfort365 members get two 90 Minute Tune-Ups every year. Chinook is direct about why the visit is that long: most companies just want their foot in the door, and a stripped down tune-up is really just a sales call. The plan is built the other way round, so the time goes into the equipment.
What fills the time is a maintenance checklist Chinook publishes for anyone to read. It covers cleaning coils, tightening electrical connections, testing safety controls, recording refrigerant pressures and testing the defrost cycle. Chinook calls it an overview of the checklist, certainly not the entirety of it, and the full 31 lines are set out below in five groups.
The lines that say record are the ones worth noticing. Voltages, amperages, gas pressure, refrigerant pressures and the temperature differential are written down at each visit, because a reading that drifts from one season to the next shows a part wearing out well before it fails.

What membership changes about the year
Each plan begins with an initial inspection and 90 Minute Tune-Up, which costs $128. Chinook does not print a monthly price for the plan, so the honest way to get one is to ask. Call the office or email comfort365@callchinook.com and they will go through it with you.
Chinook explains the savings this way: when the crew is familiar with your system, its costs are lower, and that saving is passed on. The 15% Off Repairs alone, Chinook says, often covers the membership cost. No Overtime Charges means the after hours rate does not apply to members, and Priority Scheduling means time is reserved on the schedule for them.
Comfort365+ adds three things on top: free diagnostic calls, 5% off equipment installation once you have been a member for 30 days, and air filter delivery for local Tri-Cities residents. The full benefit list is below, word for word, with a link to the terms.
Chapter 03
Billing, reminders and cancelling
Chinook bills a debit or credit card or a bank account on the 1st or the 15th of the month, your choice. Toward the end of your membership the office notifies you of the upcoming automatic renewal date, so the renewal is never a surprise.
You can cancel any time. Your benefits and automatic drafts end when you send an email asking to cancel, and Chinook will likely call or email to confirm. The Comfort365 benefits, terms and conditions are published as a PDF, linked below.
Nobody has to remember the calendar. Chinook keeps track of it and sends a timely reminder when it is time for each visit, on the view that a busy family is unlikely to have an AC tune-up at the top of the list.
